About Us

Who We Are

  • At The Mending Space Therapy, our mission is to empower women by providing compassionate, culturally attuned, and holistic therapy that honors the full spectrum of their experiences. Guided by a womanist framework, we specialize in EMDR and somatic psychotherapy to help our clients heal from trauma, reconnect with their bodies, and reclaim their narratives. We are committed to fostering a safe and affirming space where women can explore their inner wisdom, build resilience, and thrive in every aspect of their lives

    • Culturally Relevant Care: We integrate culturally relevant perspectives into our therapeutic work, ensuring that the experiences, values, and beliefs of our clients are at the forefront of their healing journey. We validate and affirm the unique cultural identities of every woman we serve.

    • Anti-Oppressive Framework: Our therapy is grounded in an anti-oppressive framework that actively addresses the systemic inequalities and power dynamics that impact mental health. We strive to dismantle these barriers within the therapeutic space, empowering clients to navigate and challenge these systems in their lives.

    • Empowerment Through Reclamation: We help clients reclaim their narratives and identities by exploring the ways in which colonial and patriarchal structures have influenced their experiences. Through this process, we support women in discovering their own paths to healing and self-definition.

    • Inclusive and Reflexive Practice: We are committed to ongoing learning and self-reflection to continuously evolve our practice. We engage in regular training and dialogue to ensure that our approach remains inclusive, responsive, and aligned with the principles of decolonization.

    • Holistic Care

We recognize that true healing involves the mind, body, and spirit. Through our expertise in EMDR and somatic psychotherapy, we provide holistic care that addresses trauma at all levels, helping women reconnect with their bodies and find balance.

Meet Tiffany Hall, Owner and Clinical Director

I’m a trauma therapist and EMDR provider that specialize in helping high-achievingwomen and femmes unlearn survival mode, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with rest, joy, and a sense of safety in their bodies.

My work is grounded in somatic therapy, attachment healing, and parts work — approaches that help clients move beyond talk therapy and into real, embodied change.

Clients often come to me when they’ve hit the point of “I can’t keep doing this like this.” They’re tired of feeling anxious, disconnected, or on edge, even when everything looks fine from the outside. Together, we slow down, notice what’s happening in the body, and build new pathways toward ease and wholeness.

In addition to individual therapy, I offer EMDR intensives and specialized support for clients navigating perfectionism, burnout, and trauma recovery.

My clinical perspective has been featured on the Therapy for Black Girls Podcast, Balanced Black Girl Podcast, and 21Ninety, where I’ve spoken about rest, nervous system care, and the unique emotional load carried by Black women and femmes.

When I’m not in session, you can find me dancing, exploring creative rituals, or writing about play, rest, and healing.
